Well I really don't know what to tell to anybody about the Antillian i meand is just comund sence. I guess, I will start about were he or she can find the informations like the boletin boards , or asking other sence here at Antillean stuff change alot.I can let them know the assistand to the classes are realy important and some profesors take that seriusly, if they have questions in the class to ask that's really important also to paid attention. They need to check there grades with the profesor and at ecans , explaining to them the sometimes the grades wong be at the website. They need to ask the profeosr if the have question , not to leave with that douth in their minds. For last but not less , study , study, study, use the library and do the homeworks and that will help them alot.Thats all i think i can said to succeed at here Antillean, put your mind to it.

in antillian they all are very nice, they help you with all you need . the profesors are also very nice the only thing you need to have is comunication if you donot understand anything or you have doughts. if you have any question you can ask your profesors after the class or at the office hour. you always need to review what the profesor gave in class

My advice for some lassie students of the UAA is:
    1. First that all: “The beginning of any wisdom is the fear to God.” So it is the first thing ever to do, devote to God; for anything that is in your concern to do.
    2. The second thing that I advise: is to paying attention to your class. Be focus and sit in the front of the class, near to the professor. That way you’ll be distracted with nothing. And you’ll learn better.
    3. And for last and not least: Bee responsible. Do your homework, your assignments, your tests, finish your work. Ask to your professor about any doubt. Don’t quit, and keep trying.
If you fallow every step as I said, I assure you that everything will running well to you. Don’t waste your time; take every good time to study. I’m not saying to take no time for yourself; is good to take a little bet of rest some times.
Don’t forget to pray to God every moment. He will helps you on everything. And if this works on me it will works on you. So take it.

To succeed at Antillean you must respect the rules they have like the way you can dress to go to class. To be more focus in the classes you must sit in front of the class, respect the professors, don’t be distracted in the class and the most important is to always do your homework it helps a lot to see if we understand the material. The other thing I advice you is to ask if you don’t understand something you can go to the tutors at the university or you can also go to your professor. Never forget God he’s the one that help you in everything he is the most important person in the whole world.

  5. Well it would be difficult, because if the person doesn’t want to succeed in an university then we can’t force him/her to do so that my first point. Some of the advice I would give them is to always read announcements in bulletin boards that are spread across the university and if it’s important mark them on a calendar. Going to university activities is also a nice way to succeed and make friends along the way, also talk to people in your classes and participate in class. Being on time and showing you’re responsible to your teachers, university staff members and friends because trust is very important. My Final advice is to use university resources, like the Library, Language lab, Computer Center and the Official Internet Sites like Dokeos, E-Cams and the Electronic Library.

Ok, there are three very important things that people should know when attending and striving to succeed at the Antillean University. First, this is a vegetarian University meaning… no meat. So if they are a bloodsucking meat lover like me then they’d want to know where they can find and satisfy they’re craving for a big chunk of cow muscle. Now just down the road of the university students can find a little lunch stand where they serve criolla food like rice and beans with beefsteak, turnovers and such. If they don’t like clandestine restaurants and crave for something more familiar there is a food court at the town center just minutes away from the Antillean. Baring in mind that students need good food to keep them energized on those long late night cramming for tests sessions.
The second thing they might want to know is where the pool is. Yes people the Antillean has its own personal, but public pool, don’t be so shocked. Now having in mind that the Antillean is a Christian school, people might want to know the dress code. First of all the ladies can’t be showing none of their goodies and the boys can’t be all commando on the pool. The pool is located next to the new building on the top of the hill to the right. Some rules include no peeing in the pool because that is just nasty and wrong, no running around the pool area, no cannonball dives and no one is to go into the pool without the lifeguard being present. As for the pool schedule students need to go to the dean of admissions to see when the pool is opened, either him or the lifeguard can tell them as well. But the best advice in terms of the pool is to enjoy it and have fun, but be safe.
And finally the third piece of advice for students here at the Antillean is to study hard and as well have fun. For the studying part students can go to the library which is open most of the time and has a wide variety of books and resources that students will need in the course of their semesters here at the Antillean. Also if need be, the university has a state funded tutoring program called Trio which can help students succeed in their academic life as well as help them develop studying skills. Now for the have fun part, this university has lots of ways and activities for a student to have that full college experience without harming their future as they would if they were to be drinking and smoking. There are several field trips the Antillean funds to wonderful places in which students experience a relaxing and enjoyable environment. For instance last semester there was a field trip to Vieques in which students relaxed and learned about their surroundings. All in all students should appreciate the opportunities given at the Antillean and not take them for granted. As they say “All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy”. In conclusion these are the three most important things that a student should know when studying here at the Antillean. If students learn this then their college life will be a breeze.

Studying at the same times each day establishes a routine that becomes a regular part of your life. When a scheduled study time comes up during the day, you will be mentally prepared to begin studying.

Goals will help you stay focused and monitor your progress. Reviewing your notes can help you make sure you are doing an assignment correctly. Also, your notes may include information that will help you complete an assignment. It is important to the success in Antillean college.

My first advice to succeed in Antillean is see e cams every day, because all jobs, homework’s, reviews, announcements, that the professors give is via e cams. In my opinion this is the more important advice, because that depends a lot on your daily study. My number two is to involve in activities and clubs. Because, study is good but if you choose only study and no involve in activities and socialize bored of studies and gradually will leaving them. And help clear the mind and leave the stress of the class. The final advice is to keep a communication with the professor, because in moments you can not understand you will have the confidence to speak with the professor and really this will help you a lot.

First of all, it deppends if the person really wants to succeed. I think there are more than three tips to help people succeed at UAA but I will write about the ones I think are the most importants. No matter how much advice you can give to that person but if she/he doesn’t take it nor care about it this person will never succeed. First of all, one advise I would give someone is to allways go to class, if this person one day can’t make it look for some class mates that can help him/her with the subject or better yet speak with the professor. Second, do all work from the class as some are for points and other for grades, you don’t want to loose them. Third and last I think it would have to be STUDY hard, if you don’t study apart from the lesson learned on that day nothing will stuck in your head and you will fail class.

  10. The first thing I would say to someone who comes to Antillean is that he has to be focused on what he wants and his plans for the future. If you come here, but you are not defined on what you want, then Antillean has many things where you can get stocked and those things can make you fail your classes and lose your time, but if you come with your mind defined on what you want and how you are going to succeed in your goals then you came to the right place to make them true.

The second thing to do here is socialization. In Antillean, in many times, you are going to need the help of another person in certain situations. And Antillean, as a multicultural college is a great place to meet people and establish good relationships for those times where you are going to need that special help with someone you know.

And the third thing is to study hard and make the good decisions to succeed in his classes. Sometimes the students lose their time in some things that are really not important for his academical progress, which is the most important thing when you are in college.
Those are my three advices for people to succeed at Antillean.

Some tips that you might try to success in Antillean...
Well if I were you (yes I know you are glad that isn’t true…) but, I will meet with my professors an ask them individually anything… well about the class for sure, that way you can be a bit further on knowing what to do on class, try to make a habit out of it. Another tip that go along with the fist one is that don’t be afraid to ask if you have some doubt or are insecure about something and get rid of them quickly because you might find some more further. And Just like in any university, don’t come to be chilling all day because you will have a high probability to fail in your classes.
I just told you three tips because is my responsibility pass my class. This one is for no bono is because I want to tell you something more that really come from me… my good side; Remember that you have a BIG friend that WAS, IS and WILL be with YOU in every moment of your life… ASK him if you don’t believe me; just remember his name… GOD (don’t be afraid to ASK) :)

Adventist University is a university like all others in terms of academics; the difference is that it has Christian focus. So to succeed in college as well in addition to being sure of what you want to study, is to focus on yours. When a person study what really interest and wants do well in classes is easier, but even so the first thing you should have are study habits. Another important issue that goes hand in hand with study skills is to prepare before coming to class. Another tip to succeed in UAA and to feel more comfortable is to meet the staff (professors, counselors, etc.)
Another tip is to know the services the college offers as this way we know when and how to use them. Know the buildings and facilities helps too. As regards classes is very important not to leave the classroom without first understanding what was said. Is very important to have a balance in our lives besides studying and do everything possible to work out, socializing and getting to know fellow students is equally important.

Well, the first is the environment where it is studied in the Antillean Adventist University. The tranquil environment is one where you feel peace and a Christian environment, Adventist. I also think of the good education that is offered here, the courses offered and academic preparation. Another point is the food offered by the cafeteria and it's good, healthy and rich ... Because you have to eat right to be greeted and good health to study and more in a quality university. These three issues: environment, education and food, I think it would be to tell a person who studies in the UAA.

First of all, antillian is a cristian university, that dosent mean that no one can come to study, but what I can tell is that this is not a typical university is a lot diferent from others. the enviroment of this university is so peace full you can fell it right away wen you cross the entrence gates. I never had been in other school or college but I had visit them and the feeling is so diferent from here, the people the servece everyting is diferent.

For your sucess in antillian you just have to beleve in you and God has well. God is the only one that can sucess you on evereyting or every were you go that include college, work and family. Like everyting antillian is not perfect but force him self in trying doin the best.

The edication here is very good. The profesors treat you like you deserve and talk wen you need it. Antillian is antillian and no college can copy and paste, is unique...

  17. University life is stressful but if you want to succeed you must be very courageous. It is also important to handing assignments on time. We need to be responsible. Another important point is study to get good grades. With hard work, dedication and a lot of interest we can achieve good things.

On the other hand, the body needs to be physically and mentally healthy enough to have good balance and performance. Every person must have good nutrition. Sleep is also necessary to have a mind ready and alert. However, if you really want to succeed in your studies and your social and spiritual life you must put everything in God's hands.

  18. Three important tips that I would give to a student in Antillean would be one to work hard and not get distracted too much with your friends cause there not going to do homework for you or take your test for you either. What I’m try to say makes time for yourself and your school work but try to make a balance and you won’t get over worked. Friends are fun but they’re not going to be there to help in the end only you can help yourself.
The second tip I would give to a student is to respect the schools religious beliefs because how would you like it if some disrespect you beliefs you wouldn’t like. I’ve notices some people who do disrespect the schools religious beliefs. Some students will not get along with you making your time in college miserable till you graduate.
The last tip I could give a student is not to stress over life for example family, school, work and friends. Life will through many obstacles your way but don’t get suck or say you can’t do it. Do your best and you will prevail just take some time to relax and sort through your problems. There this quote I heard that I really like Don’t’ let destiny control your path make your own.

  19. Well, I think the first advice I would give is that should stay in touch with your academic advisor. It is very important that the student guidance counselor about classes to take and when must take, in this way may have a good tuition each semester.

Another would be to make good friends in their classes, that way they can help you if you miss classes or if you have to perform any assignment. Finally it should be kept Ecams contact and email address, that thereby can communicate with their teacher and stay informed about news from the university.

I think the person who want to be a professional in the future need to have a good academic goal. Are many the university's that have the purpouse of make leader's to the world that every second is changing. Antillean College is a good place that have the skills and knowledge to be a professional. One advice to make Antillean a good place to succeed is meet new friends.

To exchange ideas and knowledgements create a good atmosphere of dialogue between friends. If you don't know about the different programs that Antillean have to improve the academic roll you can search flyers or ask a someone of the personel of academic matter. Isn't the name, is the quality that can bring to be a professional of the future.

well for students to succeed at Adventist University, first of all must have a spiritual peace, and having a Christian foundation. be responsible with their classes from this work to make time, use the facilities of the laboratories and the library itself. however they must adapt to the university construmbre.

    ReplyDelete
  23. First, the students must be sure the chosen profession.I have seen many guys who after having 3 years studying something, there are
much that is not what they want to do the rest of their lives. This is a waste of money and time. Then I would advise them to become
friends of his supervisors in his department. Having a good relationship with counselors or teachers is good, because they will provide advice and guidance so that can make good choices for their semesters. And finally, I would say not give up ever. Finish a college career is not easy, but with God's help, teachers and efforts, I’m sure that they will Success!

  24. To succeed in antilian you have to do many things, but i will tell you some of them right know. You have to be focus on what you want to do, for example you have to know what you want to study and you have to work hard to get good grades.
Another advice is to have a close relationship with with god. God is who can give the intelligent to dial with the university.
My last advice would be that you should have a social life, you came here to study but you should be involved in another activities such as sports, tv, pool, etc. In that way you can be prepared mentally and physically to the university problems.
